May 7, 2022

This event consists of both data sites and combat sites. I have not run the combat sites. The data sites seem to have similar rewards.

There are four types of data sites, two of which were introduced on May 6, 2022. Roughly half the est isk value of all loot is in Smuggler Lockboxes. This is a good thing. They are only .1 m3, and can be sold to NPC orders in stations that are likely near to wherever you are. They are each valued at exactly 1 million isk, and a single can drop 1-20+ of these!

As was the case last year, this is a really lucrative event. I've probably gotten 2 billion in loot in just a few days.

Smuggler Data Sites

There are two types of smuggler data sites. Cans in each site are 20-80km apart, so bring a ship that can close those distances quickly or you'll be spending a lot of time slowboating between them.

Smuggler Dead Drop

These occur in all areas of space. There are always 3 cans named Smuggler Dead Drop, with “green” hacks.

Smuggler Stash

These seem to only occur in low and null sec. Have no idea if they appear in wormholes. There are always 4 cans named Smuggler Stash, and all are “red” hacks.

CONCORD Sites

These sites were introduced a few days into the event, on May 6, 2022. The only notable difference between these and the smuggler sites is that the cans are much closer together, maybe 5-10km apart vs 20-80km apart.

Concord Mobile Impound Lot

Same as Smuggler Dead Drop, except for much smaller distances between cans. Cans are all named Concord Prohibited Item.

Concord Impound Storage

Same as Smuggler Stash, except for much smaller distances between cans. Cans are all named Concord Impound Storage.
